Protect the Environment, Save the Future Generations!

Climate Change is the biggest environmental challenge in the whole world. Everything we care about will be affected by climate change. Climate change happens due to many internal and external factors. This has become a global concern over the last few decades. The climate started changing a long time ago due to human activities. The warming up of the earth surface causes many ozone depletion, affect our agriculture, water supply, transportation, and several other problems are the effect of climate change.

This year’s theme “Adapting for a Sustainable Future” aims to create awareness on global warming and climate change by pursuing broad and intensive public information and education campaigns to secure the cooperation of the private and public sectors. DENR secretary said that despite the limitations this pandemic has brought to us, they want to utilize this week to encourage individual actions to address this dual-threat and contribute towards green recovery which I think is a great decision.

As an individual, we need to participate in environmental activities. By simply changing our behaviors and illegal activities, we are already contributing to the betterment of our environment. We also need to raise awareness among others. Encourage them and make them realize that climate change is a serious matter. There are many ways to spread awareness, we can use our social media platforms and it can be seen around the world. If we do not take action, what will happen to us and future generations? Each and everyone will surely suffer. It’s not too late yet, change your behavior, contribute to the environment. Save yourself and the future.

Take Action!

Earth is supposed to be the safest place to live with for us humans but not anymore now. Pollution, floods, erosion, global warming, climate change and many to mention are just some of the biggest problems our world is facing today. We are aware of these issues but people couldn’t stop doing the things that causes the issues. Every day we produce tons of Garbage waste and throw it anywhere recklessly. Doing illegal things like deforestation suffocates nature. Saving our earth and its environment becomes highly important as it provides us food and water to sustain life. Our well-being solely depends on this planet it gives food and water to all living things to it is our responsibility to take care of it. We have the responsibility to take care of it and not the opposite because we are the stewards of God’s creation. There’s no excuse for doing illegal things that could make the ecosystem suffer. Instead of doing that, why not do things that’ll restore the ecosystem? There are m...

Women Rise Up (Thematic Output)

In society, women tended to be known as weaker than men. Men are labeled as the stronger ones, they be looking up to for they were known for being hardworking, which is assigned on doing the harder works, and believed that women can’t. Women then were so limited in their actions, they depend on men, they are conservative, so-called Maria Clara. In this vision of society, discrimination against women is created. We are all influenced by gender, gender norms tell us what is appropriate for boys and girls, women and men to do in society. Because of this, girls and women are often less valued and have lower social status. Women suffer the most of the negative impact of the gender norms and roles, they are more likely to experience restrictions of their freedom and mobility, have fewer opportunities to choose how to live their lives. As time goes by, the stereotype of women was slowly breaking. Living in 20th century, where women as a leader, women as the ones who are wor...
