Better to be ready
We
experienced a destructive earthquake in our country, There are areas where
severe damages happen. A lot weren’t ready in times of earthquake and doesn’t
have enough knowledge to do, and that causes them to panic. In times of
Earthquake, many structures have been destroyed, and many have been injured and
died.
The
drill seeks to strengthen the mechanism for national and regional coordination,
as well as the interoperability of key players. It also aims to intensify local
communities’ earthquake preparedness and increase the commitment of local
government units in building safe communities. In school, we have an Earthquake
drill designed to test the ability of school members to make the most
appropriate decisions to ensure their safety. “Drop, Cover, and Hold” these
three words should always remain in mind, three words to perform in times of
Earthquake.
In
times of earthquake drill we have to cooperate and listen, because we don’t
know when an earthquake will hit us, we will be informed but we have to be
ready and know what to do. We should be alert and calm. The more practice and
knowledge we know, the safer we will be.
