IT ENDED

Look how fast time flies, we are now at the end of the school year. This school year may be hard but still, we manage to get through it and survive. Despite the situation we are in right now, I have learned something that I will surely need in the future. In the 4th quarter, I’ve learned parts of MS Frontpage, the toolbar, and the importance of it. We’ve learned the steps on how to create a new website, but we couldn’t apply it to make our own.                Making blogs are not new to us for it has been there ever since. Every week has different topics and events and it’s fun to make a reflection about it, by making blogs we are able to know different topics and the important things about it.                Posting this reflection means the end of the school...

Take Action!

Earth is supposed to be the safest place to live with for us humans but not anymore now. Pollution, floods, erosion, global warming, climate change and many to mention are just some of the biggest problems our world is facing today. We are aware of these issues but people couldn’t stop doing the things that causes the issues. Every day we produce tons of Garbage waste and throw it anywhere recklessly. Doing illegal things like deforestation suffocates nature. Saving our earth and its environment becomes highly important as it provides us food and water to sustain life. Our well-being solely depends on this planet it gives food and water to all living things to it is our responsibility to take care of it. We have the responsibility to take care of it and not the opposite because we are the stewards of God’s creation. There’s no excuse for doing illegal things that could make the ecosystem suffer. Instead of doing that, why not do things that’ll restore the ecosystem? There are m...

HER LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL

Mother’s Day is a day to show and honor your mom, grandmother, wife, and any mother figure. It is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. It is their special day that we show our love, gratefulness, and appreciation towards them. It is celebrated in many ways, the usual is to buy and give them flowers and cake. A little celebration and greeting them “Happy Mother’s Day” will do and means a lot to them.                Mothers taught us a lot of things, they sacrifice and love us unconditionally. There will be nothing that will top a mother’s love. A mother's love bears strength, comfort, healing, and warmth. They do everything they can to protect and give their children a better life. Mother knows best, they say, they may scold us, and there’s something that we couldn’t understand but, for sure they know better and everything ...

Women Rise Up (Thematic Output)

In society, women tended to be known as weaker than men. Men are labeled as the stronger ones, they be looking up to for they were known for being hardworking, which is assigned on doing the harder works, and believed that women can’t. Women then were so limited in their actions, they depend on men, they are conservative, so-called Maria Clara. In this vision of society, discrimination against women is created. We are all influenced by gender, gender norms tell us what is appropriate for boys and girls, women and men to do in society. Because of this, girls and women are often less valued and have lower social status. Women suffer the most of the negative impact of the gender norms and roles, they are more likely to experience restrictions of their freedom and mobility, have fewer opportunities to choose how to live their lives. As time goes by, the stereotype of women was slowly breaking. Living in 20th century, where women as a leader, women as the ones who are wor...
